Joe & Joe: Three hundred thousand Souls
Three hundred thousand souls is a live performance for radio devised by Joe Vaughan & Joe Summers, a performance duo from the U.K. Through a combination of spoken text, musical improvisation, abstract sound and movement, the performance explores the idea of plurality in the living city.
The audience are invited to experience the performance from Ljubljana castle, with a view over the city. The performers will be visible in the streets below, sending their signal via portable radio transmitter.
A handful of radio receivers will be provided, though audience members are encouraged to bring their own if possible (binoculars/telescopes are also optional).
The performance will begin at 5pm. Audience members should congregate at the white benches in front of the castle (see picture).
