Cirkulacija 2, an artists’ intiative from Ljubljana / Slovenija presented a series of events entitled Prototype 11 at MedienKunstLabor as part of Netart Community Convention from 24th to 29th of November 2009. The artists present all the time:  Borut Savski, Stefan Doepner,  Milan Kristl, Boštjan Leskovšek and Ksenija Čerče. Luka Prinčič joined for two days, Maja Smrekar joined in with a video stream from Kiberpipa Ljubljana and Miha Tomšič visited on friday.

There were three main parallel lines of work:

– Savski, Doepner, Leskovšek, Kristl, Prinčič and Čerče as basic Cirkulacija 2: Prototype 11 project (the keywords: translation, transformation, interpretation, consumation on the levels of sounds, visuals, words) processes
– Prinčič and Smrekar had a performance
– Savski and others dealt with media presentation (radio, net tv, streaming, archiving…) and installation (post-mortem) situation after the live participants were gone

Actions:
– unfocused: during the day (14.00 to 19.00)
– consumation: 19.00 to 20.00 (or a little bit earlier)
– focused: in the evening (20.00 to 22.00)

23rd Nov – monday:
arrival at 15.00 to 16.00, unpacking, defining the areas in MKL, setting up the peripheric systems

20:00 opening performances=presentations (Introduction: What is Cirkulacija & prehistory of self-production & media art from the point of view of people involved; sound & visual performance: Savski + Kristl –  Analogic Composition, …)
22.00 afterhours (a free form non-compressed improvised situation – a bit moderated – open to immediate reflection; solos, duos, etc…)

25th Nov – wednesday:
