“NoiseToys – not just for boys”
Workshop of making synths – Thursday, 3rd of August 2023 at 5-9pm.
The Dresden based musician and artist Alwin Weber is into electronic music and soldering for more than 20 years. With his solder project CircuitCircle he gave loads of solder workshops around the planet, specialized in circuit bending and weird sounds.
For the workshop in Ljubljana he will bring along some of his solder kits, such as “SCREAMO”, “TOUCHSYNTH”, “LDERROR” as well as some delay and loop modules for circuit bending with him. As a result everybody can solder a wide range of weird noise instruments and afterwards we will have a nice experimental jam.
On Friday, 4th August 2023 Alwin Weber will also perform on a concert <Excerpts
of a broken memory> with Simon Macuh and VJ Doms.
He is also performing solo shows with his alias StöRenFrieD. His music is a abstract mix between fieldrecordings, noisy drones and glitchy chopped up breakcore.
