TTT2025 /// TABOO – TRANSGRESSION – TRANSCENDENCE in Art & Science ++ Mestna jaga [Urban Hunting]
Published on August 30th, 2025We gladly invite you to a multiday event in the scope of TTT 2025 Ljubljana, beginning on tuesday, september 9th at 6PM in Kino Šiška and lasts until september the 13th. The rich nomadic conference programme encompasses discussions, projections, performances and exhibitions which will take place at various artistic venues. You can find the full event timeline here.
On tuesday, september 9th between 6PM and 10PM you can watch video documentation of the 10-year Urbana Jaga project by artists Dominik Mahnič and Marc Dusseiller. You can see / read about / listen to past actions at hackteria.org.
On wednesday, september 10th at 9.15 AM in the cathedral of Kino Šiška a round table will take place, initiating dialogue between different actors in the slovenian conteporary art field. Our representative Tatiana Kocmur will speak by the side of Bojan Jablanovec (Via Negativa), Jurij Krpan (Zavod Kersnikova) and Miha Turšič (KSEVT), presenting the local continuous contingency of Cirkulacija 2. The discussion will be moderated by Uroš Veber.
In the evening of the same day at 9PM in Cirkulacija 2 we will host a participative performance, Urbana Jaga, lead by Marc Dusseiller and Dominik Mahnič. The number of participants for this event is limited, access upon registration here.
On thursday, september 11th at 7PM panelists Jirapat “Bos” Thaweechuen, Bora Hong, Helmi Hardian, Weeratouch “Wave” Pongruengkiat and Wei Chieh Shih z Marcom Dusseillerjem are going to broaden Art & Science concepts through global, cross-cultural perspectives within the hackteria network’s Asian activities across Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. Approximately 170 speakers from more than 30 countries focusing (a) on questions about the nature of the forbidden and about the aesthetics of liminality, and (b) on the opening of spaces for creative transformation in the merging of science and art.

The international conference Taboo – Transgression – Transcendence in Art & Science (TTT) is an interdisciplinary and nomadic event, where both practitioners as wehttps://avarts.ionio.gr/ttt/2025/en/about/ll as theorists present and discuss the status of art-science and/or art & technology. The conference focuses (a) on questions about the nature of the forbidden and about the aesthetics of liminality, as expressed in art that uses or is inspired by technology and science, and (b) on the opening of spaces for creative transformation in the merging of science and art.
